Meet Tricia ...

Tricia Katchen has been President of NY Food Network since she founded the firm in 1989. Previously an executive recruiter in the financial services industry, she has welcomed the opportunity to switch from matching people with positions to matching products with outlets. And she had done a lot of that; over the years, Tricia has represented distributors and manufacturers in meat, seafood, produce, desserts, ice cream and in the organic category to a diverse customer base including hotels, restaurants, gourmet stores, corporate cafeterias, schools, caterers and retail operators. 

Tricia holds a bachelor’s degree in psychology and participated in a graduate program in business administration.  She lives on New York’s Upper East Side. In her spare time, Tricia enjoys the arts—particularly film, theatre and dance—and exploring New York’s many neighborhoods.  And like all people who love food—and want to stay in shape—she is an avid exerciser.
