Our customers rely on us for many things. Whatever the circumstances, we work hard to make a difference in their businesses. Here are some stories that will give you a good idea of what we have done to improve our clients' bottom lines and raise their profiles in the marketplace.

1. Leveraging an Existing Product
A bakery with wholesale and retail operations increased total sales by 25% thanks to an innovative expansion of an established product line. When the bakery came to NY Food Network seeking the fastest path to increased revenue, we reviewed its total product line and found one seasonal item that always had strong sales: gingerbread houses. Leveraging our connections with high end retailers and gourmet stores, we helped the bakery create year-round and customized variations. Soon it was selling love cottages for Valentine’s Day and haunted houses for Halloween, as well as gingerbread Bergdorf Goodman and Bloomingdale’s stores.

2. Building a Business Rapidly
A meat purveyor that has been around since 1954 gained $2 million in business per year through working with NY Food Network. The purveyor sought to expand its market, but was certain it had covered all the avenues. With guidance from NY Food Network, the purveyor was the successful bidder on a three-year contract with a well-known worldwide corporation that has eight restaurants in New York City.

3. Establishing a National Presence
A maker of nonfat ice cream established a nation-wide presence with the help of NY Food Network. The product’s manufacturer, based in New York City, wanted to test the national waters but was uncertain how to begin. We researched the market in three other key regions of the country: South, Midwest and West Coast. We were able to find distributors that carried this type of specialty product and persuade them to give it a try. In fairly short order, the ice cream company went from being a very local brand to one with a national presence.
